With Halloween just around the corner it meant it was time for my annual October trip to Lush for some of their Halloween goodies! I'm such a Lush lover with their Bath Bombs and Bubble Bars being my absolute favourites and when they bring out their seasonal products I just can't resist. I love a cosy, deep, long soak in the bath, it's my favourite way of having a bit of me time. Sitting back with a face mask on, laptop propped up next to the bath (away from water!) catching up on a show or re watching old favourites (very in to re-watching Gossip Girl at the moment), surrounded by colourful water, fragrant bubbles and sensual smells just makes bath time extra special.
It was a no-brainer for me to pick up the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar, it was my favourite last year and I knew I had to repurchase it this year so it was the first thing to go in to my basket! It smells so delicious and unique with juniperberry oil, lime oil and grapefruit oil, it's such a relaxing combination of smells. It leaves your bath water a gorgeous glittery orange gold, with lots of light and fluffy bubbles. It's not the biggest bubble bar so depending on how fragranced and bubbly you want your bath this one might not last you very long. I find it lasts me two baths easily, but I could make it stretch to three if I wasn't so fussed on the amount of bubbles!
The Sparkly Pink Pumpkin Bubble Bar is very much the same in terms of results and consistency as the original orange Pumpkin Bubble Bar, the only difference being the colour and the scent. If you're a fan of the sweet yet sultry scents from Lush then this is the Bubble Bar for you. It has a very pretty, feminine, floral scent with geranium oil, bergamot oil and jasmine absolute. It leaves your bath full of fragrant bubbles and pink water, a very inviting bath indeed.
The Monsters Ball Bath Bomb is so adorable, I couldn't not bring it home with me! Thinking that this would leave me with bright pink water I was surprised to find vibrant blue coming out from the middle, mixing in with the pink creating beautiful purple hued swirls. The colours alone are enough to make me want to buy this bath bomb again, but what really won me over is how incredibly soft and nourished my skin felt afterwards thanks to the neroli oil and the olibanium oil (which smells incredible!).
Nothing makes me feel more cosy during the colder months than using Lush products, I am already so excited for the Christmas products, most stores already have them but I just can't bring myself to delve in to them just yet, I'll save that for next month!
