Dior Lip Glow

Every now and then a beauty product comes along that just blows you away and becomes a strong staple in your makeup bag. The latest beauty product that has done that for me are the Dior Lip Glow Lip Balms. A lip balm is a seemingly boring beauty product and one that everyone probably has somewhere, but these are no average lip balms. Aside from the very cute and chic packaging, each colour reacts to the unique PH of your lips, meaning every colour looks that little bit different person-to-person. Dior call this their Colour Reviver Technology. While it's not a brand new concept, the colour changing aspect, I've tried a few other lip balm that claim to deliver the same outcome and I've never actually come across one that I find visibly different on each person, nor one that remains so hydrating, oh and one that offers several different colours, as well as finishes!

Out of the 10 different colours that Dior offer, including a mix of finishes (matte, holographic, original), I have two favourites, 004 Coral in the original finish and 102 Raspberry in the matte finish. The fact that Dior offer a matte lip balm, well that really is unique, and it's also stunning. Despite the matte finish it feels so balmy and hydrating, the beautiful raspberry pink shade is so flattering, and even as if wears off throughout the day, a hint of colour remains as a stain. The coral shade is my favourite of the original balmy/glossy finishes, the pop of coral make a fun colour change from the usual pink coloured balms, and it is again such a flattering wash of colour, nothing too vibrant, but not too subtle either.

My third favourite that you can see here is the Lip Sugar Scrub, which isn't just a scrub, it's also a balm with a flush of pink colour, you apply the scrub and massage the sugar grains between your leave to leave behind a beautiful fresh wash of coloured balm. I love this two in one lip balm & scrub, it's a handbag staple that keeps your lips healthy and moisturised, with the prettiest pink flush of colour.
